Section Two: Astronaut Artifacts
Apollo 16 Robbins Medallion from the collection of Charles Duke

This silver medallion was minted for Apollo 16 moonwalker Charles Duke by The Robbins Co. of Attleboro, Mass. It is identical to and from the same run as the medallions flown by Duke and his crewmates to the Moon.
Robbins medallions, as they are referred to by collectors, were only available for original purchase to the astronauts.
Only 300 Apollo 16 silver medallions were minted, of which 202 were not flown. This medallion is from the collection of Apollo 16 Lunar Module Pilot Charles Duke.
