Lot 004: Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center Tour with Astronaut Rick Hauck
You and a guest will tour the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia with astronaut Rick Hauck.
Frederick H. (Rick) Hauck flew on three Space Shuttle missions, including command of the redesigned spaceship on its critical first flight after the explosion of Challenger.
On your tour, you will see over 80 aircraft and dozens of space artifacts on display including the shuttle Enterprise, an SR-71 Blackbird reconnaissance aircraft, the Dash 80 prototype of the Boeing 707, the B-29 Superfortress "Enola Gay" and the de Havilland Chipmunk aerobatic plane, to name a few. Many engines, rockets, satellites, helicopters, airliners, ultra-lights, and experimental flying machines are all on display for the first time in a museum setting.
Your tour will also include tickets to the 3-D IMAX film "Space Station". Hauck will depart before the movie begins.

This auction does not include transportation to or from, or accommodations near the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. The actual date of the event, not to exceed one year after the close of the auction, will be determined by Rick Hauck's availability. ASF reserves the right to disqualify the high bidder, to reject the high bid, and to accept a bid from a lower bidder, for any reason within their discretion, which shall be exercised in good faith. The winning bidder of this event will be required to submit proof of identity and may be subject to a background check.
