Space Hipsters is now soliciting nominations for its seventh annual prize for the best book in space history or exploration published in 2024. This prize carries an honorarium of $250, plus we will publicize all accepted nominated titles on our social media throughout the year, and hold a livestreamed interview with the winning authors for our 65,000 member Facebook group. In order to nominate a title, simply send an email to committee co-chair Lois Huneycutt at HuneycuttL@missouri.edu with full publication information (author(s), full title, publisher) and a 200 to 300 word description of the book and what you believe contributes to it being a potential prizewinner. Note that if your nomination is accepted, the prize committee will require three copies of the book for the judging committee. Nominations must be received by Friday, April 4, 2025. | |
