This artwork is absolutely stunning.

Does anyone know who created this artwork for the STS-7 SPAS-01 information pamphlet? Has it been used anywhere else? It's a beautiful undertaking for such a simple one-page information hand out.

This was created by Eric Theodor Lässig, an illustrator working at that time with MBB in Ottobrunn near Munic, Germany.

From a poster (on eBay; 124748847361), the name is given on the border. There is also a Wikipedia entry for him.

ESA: Spacelab in orbit
Artist's impression of Spacelab in orbit. ESA developed Spacelab as a manned scientific laboratory to fly in the Space Shuttle's cargo bay.

All times are CT (US)
