It has been a long journey for a variety of reasons but I am happy to report work on the next title in the series is now underway. "The Trials and Triumphs of Gemini 6, 7, and 8 - Docking with Agena," co-authored with my brother Mike Shayler, is currently planned for publication in the spring of 2024.At this time, details of what book follows that title, and there are a few being worked on, will be announced when the draft for GT-6, -7 & -8 has been handed over for production later in the year. |

THIS is the book for which I am waiting. Almost the entire Gemini program in three flights. I am particularly interested in the events that occurred when Wally Schirra shepherded Armstrong and Scott back onto the Leonard Mason, just as they were about to leave the ship, where they spent almost another two hours onboard. |

I am currently working on the draft, with a short break for the festive season, and expect it to be submitted and published during 2024. I do not have definitive dates yet as other events over the past two years significantly affected my writing schedule. Hopefully 2024 will see a more calmer situation allowing me to resume the various book projects and website updates I have planned. I will post more detailed information when available. | |
