Lynn Sherr will be Stephen Colbert's guest tonight (Oct. 2) on Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report" to discuss "Sally Ride: America's First Woman in Space."
Update: Lynn's interview can be watched here (it may not be available to viewers outside the U.S.).

Only got hold of this book on Monday but have now read it and would recommend it if you haven't seen it yet.
I did think there was a bit too much of the sexuality issue though, especially as it wasn't supposed to be a big deal?

It shouldn't be a point of controversy or discrimination in society, but it was during Sally Ride's life, which affected the way she lived her life, which makes it relevant to her biography.

I think Lynn Sherr did a wonderful job with her book about Sally Ride. Glad to have the book in my collection.
