RocketScience: The Journal of the Detroit Rocket Society, Inc. 1947-1952
Edited by Robert Godwin and Alfred Zaehringer
Featuring unique material from the members of the Detroit Rocket Society -- many of whom are regarded as the fathers of modern rocketry -- this collection offers a privileged glimpse at an obscure rarity of rocket history.

More than 50 years out of print, the important technical papers of Professor Hermann Oberth, Krafft Ehricke, Eugen Sänger, Heinz-Hermann Koelle, Hans Kaiser, and others are a testament to the efforts that laid the foundation for humankind’s ascent into space.

About the Author
Robert Godwin is the space curator at the Canadian Air and Space Museum and an advocate of the Space Frontier Foundation. He works closely with the National Space Society, the Mars Society, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and the X-Prize Foundation. He is the author of Apollo 11, The Illustrated Collector’s Guide to Led Zeppelin, and The Lunar Exploration Scrapbook. He lives in Burlington, Ontario.

Alfred Zaehringer is a former engineer for the Apollo and Saturn space programs and has worked extensively on rocket systems for high-profile aerospace programs such as Lockheed Martin and LTV Aerospace. He is a member of the National Space Society and the British Interplanetary Society. He lives in Troy, Michigan.
