I know that there exists STS-11/41B lithos which were originally printed stating that the crew was to fly on Columbia, not Challenger. But until I saw one on eBay, I was unaware that the 41D litho, on its reverse, went through something similar. The questions are: What was in the original block of text that required it to be blocked out, then rewritten? And do other, similar crew lithos exist, perhaps for the 41C crew? |

I won this item on ebay so I'll let you know the content of that text (if i can decipher it) when the litho arrives. |

I have our answer... - The text is printed in portrait on the reverse of a landscape litho.
- The scrubbed text? You might be surprised to know that the words are identical to the displayed text... beats me why you'd do that but there you go.
