Don and I are happy to announce the sixth in a series of reprints of rare NASA manned spaceflight documents—The Gemini Titan II Launch Vehicle Press Handbook. This extraordinarily difficult to find volume was written by a NASA/U.S. Air Force team since the Air Force had developed the Titan II missile and then it was adapted for use by NASA for the launch of the Gemini manned spacecraft.
This is the second edition, published for press just after the aborted Gemini 6 launch, modified to acknowledge the change in plans for the Gemini 7/6 rendezvous mission.
This is an amazing volume, which includes many B&W photos and diagrams of the GT-II Launch Vehicle, pre-flight tests and checkout, countdown and flight sequences, detailed launch vehicle systems description, Launch Complex 19 detailed description, the Gemini spacecraft, rendezvous and docking and six appendices on the Air Force Space Systems Division, Program Management, Gemini astronauts, GT-II Chronology, Glossary and Critical Parts Suppliers.
We have republished this in a 3 ring binder similar to the original. Fully indexed.
In three ring binder, printed on regular paper stock, 8.5x11 inches, c. 235 pages. $24.95 plus shipping.
