Can anyone tell me what region this is encoded for? The Discovery website helpfully doesn't say - or maybe they haven't discovered Europe yet.Paul |

Paul, I have ordered DVDs previously. They are Region 1. Information can be found under the International Orders section. Quote: Videos & DVDs: Currently, our videos can only be shipped overseas in NTSC format, which may not work in video players produced by your country. Likewise, our DVDs are only coded for Region 1 (US and Canada). We are working to offer multiple formats in the future. Until then, please refer to our list of International Partners for Videos. Paul- I have this DVD- thanks to a friend. It is for region I only. Check your DVD player-some makes can be altered to a multi-region-by adding something inside. if not- one can buy a multi region type now in the UK shops for about £30-£40- or even cheaper. As these seem to be the in-thing now.I got one years ago-wouldnt be without it-----NASA ones especially, got more from the USA. See you in a few weeks. regards from Brenda. this was posted by november25 |

I don't know if the DVDs are available in the Discovery Channel stores, but I got mine from the website. They're also $5 cheaper than when I made my purchase ...[This message has been edited by collectSPACE Admin (edited October 19, 2005).] |

Well I went to the nearest Discovery Channel store (30 min away) and got the very last copy. Apparently it's been a big seller. It was $24.99, a little expensive but I guess it was worth it. -Rodrigo |
