We are delighted to offer the second in a series of special, high quality reprints of vintage NASA Project Apollo working documents. Many of you know that these originals are scarce to rare and command hundreds of dollars at auctions or bookstores if they can be found at all. Although a number of the Apollo documents can be found online in PDF formats, many have been scanned with less than desirable reproductions. We have gone to significant effort to maintain the original quality in our reprints. The originals we are using were engineers' and astronauts' working copies, so some pages may have some handwritten notes which we feel may actually increase the interest of the reader. These handwritten notes often make the text and illustrations easier to understand.
This second volume in our series is the "Saturn V News Reference". This was printed for use in December 1968 by the prime contractors for the Saturn V: Boeing, IBM, McDonnell Douglas and North American Aviation and was designed to provide the news media with the details of the Saturn V launch vehicle. Published just before the Apollo 8 mission to the moon. Fascinating and rare. This is a truly exceptional volume in all regards. We have republished this in a 3 ring binder similar to the original.
In three ring binder, printed on 70 pound paper stock, 8.5x11 inches, c. 133 pages. Private reprint by Boggs SpaceBooks. $29.95 plus shipping ($4 U.S., varies overseas).
We will be shipping on or about February 1st.
