All,Seeing that my good friend Derek has shown you his amazing collection of items, i thought i would follow suit and share with you my collection of Test Pilot and other items. Its no way near the standard of many other collections, but i like it. I have had great fun corresponding with so many of thos featured, many of whom i keep in regular contact with. I am always looking to add to it, so dont be shy, if you have any duplicates that i dont have let me know!!!...lol My tribute to Flight Test worldwide http://thetartanterror.blogspot.com/ Cheers Neil [This message has been edited by the_tartanterror (edited August 08, 2006).] |

WOW !What a RESOURCE ! Thanks for sharing all of the details, scans....you have created a truly remarkable website ! Don't you just LOVE flown covers.....to know that a pilot or someone would take the time to carry your stuff for you, document what it did and sign it and RETURN it to you ?!?!?! Those pieces are most spectacular, in my mind. Thank you for work. Gene Bella |

Guys,Just to let you know i have updated my site with my latest addition, which i was very pleased to obtain. Its a 1st flight cover of the Convair 340 signed by legendary Convair Chief Test Pilot E.D.'Sam' Shannon who as you know flew many 1st of type flights for Convair including the XF92A. The cover is also signed by Convair Test Pilot Phil Prophett. Hope you like the pictures and the cover Cheers Neil [Edited by the_tartanterror (September 20, 2006).] |

Outstanding Neil. I can't think of mnay other sites with such a comprehensive history of TP's. I just love reading about the cutting edge aviation development in the UK of the 50s and 60s.Paul Bramley |
