I received this in the mail today, ordinarily something that would fill me with great joy. Today however, an ineffable sadness. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight" Proverbs 3:5-6Tom [This message has been edited by collectSPACE Admin (edited February 04, 2003).] |

Thats pretty awesome Tom.I don't know what your collection consists of, but this is by far an unbelievable gift. Great time to pause and reflect for a moment. This crew went on a mission of peace into a new world without any boundaries bringing with them hopes and dreams for all mankind. Good things will soon come from this tradgedy, including a new awareness, passion and dedication. Thanks for sharing this, and may God bless the crew and their families. Everyone is very welcome. To the few people who have emailed me off-line: It is not now nor will it ever be for sale! I asked Robert to post the scan, because at least for me, it made this tragedy personal. Thanks everyone for your comments. May God speed the crew of STS-107Tom [This message has been edited by scout706 (edited February 06, 2003).] |

What a beautiful gift. Though Earth is no longer fortunate enough to have Rick Husband among its members another place is. I have created a community dedicated to the Columbia and her crew. I would like it to be a true tribute to the 7 heros who lost their lives in the pursuit of bettering life for mankind. I have included a link to this topic in my workspace and I would greatly appreciate it if people would also add content to my community. The address is www.mayeticvillage.com/columbiashuttle. Thank you in advance for any contributions you can make to this written memorial. |
