On Friday (Oct. 18), the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, opened "An American Love Affair: Pop Culture and Corvette," a new exhibition featuring the stories that made more than a dozen Corvettes famous.

In addition to Corvettes used in movies and on TV, as well as famous owners, the exhibit also includes a "To the Moon" section:

View Gemini and Apollo mission astronaut Jim Lovell’s 1968 Silverstone Silver Corvette, along with artifacts like Lovell's astronaut gloves and an autographed lunar navigational chart on loan from the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville.

All times are CT (US)
