Elon Musk on Monday (Feb. 21) offered to display a Starship prototype at the Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport, located near SpaceX's South Texas Launch Site ("Starbase"). Musk's overture was in reply to a tweet suggesting a Starship be exhibited "in a public rocket garden."

From Elon Musk (via Twitter):

If South Padre and/or Brownsville would like a Starship prototype, we can send one over.

Maybe near BRO airport, since that serves both communities?

The airport responded (via Twitter) about 15 minutes later:
We're ready for it and have a great location to display it at (Starship Road) where do we sign?

To which Musk replied (via Twitter):

Sounds good, we will send one over.
There was no discussion of a time table, but updates will be posted here when available.

All times are CT (US)
