I came across this image of a Saturn V model at the Kennedy Space Center from the early 1970s. I was in that room in 1982 and it was very different then and I do not ever recall ever seeing this model.
Does anybody know if it is still around or is it long gone?

There is a large cutaway model in the Apollo/Saturn V Center.

That looks like the same model refreshed and rotated 180 degrees. I was there in November 2000 and do not recall ever seeing it. Perhaps when your standing under the real thing it's easy to miss a 40 foot long model. I'm glad to see it's still around. Thank you.

The U.S. Space & Rocket Center has a similar/identical model, and I seem to recall the Kansas Cosmosphere having one, hanging from the ceiling (perhaps near the crawler shoe and the Q-ball?).
