Ben Cooper shared these photos of the Apollo command module-shaped "Skystone" now displayed in the lobby of the John Hancock Center in Chicago, Illinois. The plaque reads:
The Skystone in the shape of a contemporary space travel vehicle was raised to the 100th story of John Hancock Center on May 6, 1968. After public display, it will be secured and sheltered at the top of the building. Members of some future generation will break the time capsule's seals and find within a collection of artifacts and microfilmed documents and photographs reflecting interesting aspects of the history of Chicago, Illinois and the United States of America.
It is not clear (at least based on searches online) when the Skystone was lowered and placed on display in the lobby of the tower.

All times are CT (US)
