The Volandia Park and Museum of Flight in Varese, Italy includes a Space Pavilion: The universe at Volandia: walk through planets and satellites, watch the International Space Station (ISS) in the 3D room, explore the sky with the planetarium and relive all the missions of the greatest astronauts. The Space pavilion is made in collaboration with Italian Space Agency, European Space Agency and Finmeccanica. Of particular interest to collectSPACE readers, the Space Pavilion's new curator is our own Luigi Pizzimenti (cS: Charlie16). He shares: The goal is to create the best Italian Air and Space Museum. A living museum where it will feed insiders, space agencies, astronauts and enthusiasts. Congratulations Luigi! |
