Guard-Lee has produced a full scale exterior representation of the Orion crew exploration vehicle, which is now on display at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex for 2008.

The replica is 16.5 feet in diameter, 14.5 feet tall, and is made of wood construction with a fiberglass outer shell.

I posted this on the Field Guide a couple weeks ago.

The model came during the holidays, and is on lease for a year. It is impressive in size, and my only wish is that it be nearer the trio of Apollo capsules in the Rocket Garden to emphasize the size. It got me thinking what an Ares I stack would look like in the Rocket Garden!

All times are CT (US)
