I'm surprised the crew won an Emmy award-considering ol' Al Bean busted the surface TV camera and the rest of the two EVAs were done in 'blackout' with audio only.

Even though Bean broke the TV camera, I'd bet it was Conrad's "Whoopee! Man, that may have been a small one for Neil, but that's a long one for me." when he stepped off the LM ladder that clinched the award.

I told my mom that I had an earache that day so I could stay home from school and watch the EVA. All couple of minutes of it before Bean pointed the camera at the Sun...
