This is one of the last photos taken during the final Skylab mission, shortly after splashdown in the Pacific Ocean at 11:17 a.m. EDT on February 8, 1974, about 175 statute miles southwest of San Diego, California. One of the crew members snapped this shot of a helicopter from the recovery ship USS New Orleans circling the SL-4 command module.
