heng44 Member Posts: 3762 From: Netherlands Registered: Nov 2001	posted 09-14-2024 03:05 AM NASA and McDonnell technicians close the hatches of the Gemini 6 spacecraft in the white room atop Pad 19 during the prelaunch countdown at Cape Kennedy, Florida. Astronauts Wally Schirra and Tom Stafford were launched at 8:37 a.m. EST on December 15, 1965.

And it is a testament to how cramped the Gemini cockpit could be – there is stuff (I’m guessing stowage bags and/or part of Schirra’s suit) smushed right up against the window! Any idea which Gemini 6 launch attempt this was?
