 Apollo 9 commander Jim McDivitt is photographed aboard the CSM 'Gumdrop' during the March 1969 mission, the first test of the LM 'Spider.' McDivitt died on October 13, 2022. |

Super photo Ed. Similar to the Armstrong one after the first moon EVA. Two brilliant test flights.Jim McDivitt was one of the greats of early space exploration without a doubt. |
