The Apollo 15 crew is photographed at Patrick AFB on June 10, 1971, after flying a record number of 125 weightless parabolas in the KC-135 airplane behind them. On similar flights the numbers ranged from 60-80. Al Worden is holding a banner stating 125 parabolas were flown. He is flanked by Dave Scott on the left and Jim Irwin on the right. At far left is pilot Oleg Komarnitsky (1938-2010). His son Alek provided the photo.

This photo shows the pride everyone participating in the Apollo programme took. They all did their bit and Alek must feel very proud of his father.

Does Worden still have the banner - pretty historic stuff here (nudge wink).

That says a lot about the KC-135.

All times are CT (US)
