As a couple (if that) of you may know, I have a vast and diverse collection of vintage space photos, some of which I've been posting to a Flickr account I established in 2016.

In that time, and primarily now, in the twilight of my collecting "career," I've been drawn to the amazing, some iconic, works of the largely anonymous pool of NASA and contractor artists/illustrators back in the day.

Through diligent, conscientious and exhaustive research, I've made a serious dent in identifying a number of those artists, in conjunction with attribution to their respective works. Most importantly, I'd like to think, in some small way, I've helped to preserve their legacies and honor their lives.

With that, I'm hoping there are a few folks here that can assist in identifying some of the good people in this photograph, which I inadvertently came upon, sadly, within the online obituary of Charles "Chuck" Biggs:

Photo credit: Biggs Family/Dignity Memorial website.

Thus far, all I have is:

  1. Charles Biggs (no. 1)
  2. Bill Der Bing (possibly no. 2)
  3. Roy Adridge (no. 3, via FB input)
  4. Barbara Matelski (tenuously no. 6)
  5. Tom Magin (possibly no. 11, via FB)
  6. Grant Lathe (possibly no. 20)
  7. FNU Hughes (tenuously no. 24, via FB input)
  8. Bill Crumpler (tenuously no. 27)
Other than Mr. Biggs, the sole reason I'm able to even make a SWAG on Mr. Der Bing and Mr. Lathe is because of a poor/grainy online scan I discovered of an April 1963 issue of MSC's "Space News Roundup."

Any assistance or input would be appreciated.
