I remember Mr. Blagov being amongst the principal individuals at Mission Control, Moscow in the aftermath of Progress M-34 colliding with the Mir space station on 25 June 1997. In the days and weeks following the near-fatal disaster he was interviewed by BBC, CNN and Sky News reporters and provided very frank updates. Sorry to hear of his passing. |
