Thanks to Kim and Sally's hard work I was able to meet many of my heroes. Thanks to Kim's efforts I have many memories over the years of good times in Tucson.Kim faced each day living with a debilitating disease with as much courage as any astronaut or test pilot. No one can fill his shoes. I am saddened. |

Very sad news. Our hobby has lost one of its most important members and also one of the best space artists. R.I.P., Kim. |

So sad... I had no idea he was ill. I too have a print of "Morning Launch." I purchased it from him personally when he visited our little town of Alamogordo, NM in 1986, soon after we lost Challenger and crew.I will always treasure this piece of unique and special artwork. |

I am on the verge of completing my latest book for the University of Nebraska Press and it will be dedicated to the memory of Kim Poor. I owe him and Sally so much for the great times I've enjoyed at past Spacefest events. |
