Former congresswoman Mary Bono (R-Calif.), has married retired Navy pilot and former astronaut Stephen Oswald, the Washington Post reports.
“Happy to announce that Steve and I were married last night after sunset and as the Supermoon eclipse was rising!” she posted on her Facebook page. “A wonderful night with my family and tons of great friends.”

Bono, 53, is the widow of singer Sonny Bono, and she divorced former congressman Connie Mack IV, in 2013, after both had left Congress.

She’s now a principal at FaegreBD Consulting; she and 64-year-old Oswald, who piloted two Shuttle Discovery missions, had been dating for two years.
