I had a meeting in Concord New Hampshire today so I decided to pay a visit to Christa McAuliffe's final resting place. Her grave is at the top of a gentle slope towards the back of Calvary Cemetery in Concord New Hampshire, not far from the Planetarium that bears her name. It was nice to see that the small offerings at the base of her stone continue to be made.

It's kind of ironic that because of the way she died, she did more for education and inspiring people than if she had lived.
God Bless you Christa. I hope you continue to inspire everyone who enters a classroom with the goal of helping a child reach for their star!

I think there is an article with photographs in the August 1996 issue of spaceflight magazine. I wish i haddn't pack them up to move just yet. I could look to be ure but i am almost 100% sure it was that issue.
