Buzz Aldrin has kicked off his book tour for "No Dream is Too High": Thank you to everyone who came to my book signing at @BookRevueLI. #NoDreamIsTooHigh 1,800 books is a record. I was feeling a little deja vu at my book signing tonight. |

I would just like to ask some advice.I'm from South Africa and would also like to get a book signed. Could someone get a book signed for me? Also, for these signings does Buzz also personalise the books? |

Per Aldrin's website regarding his book signings: He will not personalize and will sign his name only. With regards to getting a book signed, if a cS member is unavailable to help, some the upcoming venues may be taking absentee orders. See, for example, Bookends, which advertises, "Can't make a signing? We take phone orders for signed copies." |

Just for general reference, here are the full rules for Aldrin's book signings: - Buzz will only autograph the new book "No Dream is Too High"
- He will not sign any memorabilia, photos, space related items, other books authored or not authored by him.
- He will not personalize and will sign his name only.
- We allow photos while he is signing but we will not pose for pictures or allow anyone behind the table to take a photo.
- Each venue will decide if there is a limit to how many books you may purchase. This is at the discretion of the venue.
- Buzz will continue to sign until the last person in line having purchased a book is taken care of. Once all books are sold we will consider the signing over.
(Some venues note that he will sign his children's books, too, but check with the venue first. |

For anyone who is local to the Central Florida area, Buzz Aldrin will be signing copies of his new book "No Dream is Too High: Life Lessons from A Man Who Has Walked on the Moon" on April 18, 2016 at 7:00pm. The event is listed on the Sightings section of this site, but I will post the details below. In case anyone is interested in attending/participating, you just need to go to the store in person to prepay for a copy of the book. Once you have paid, you will be given a receipt and a card with a number that corresponds to your place in line at the signing. You just have to bring both of these items with you to the signing on Monday to get your book, and have it signed. I participated in a different Buzz Aldrin book signing back in December at KSC. It was a great experience! I'm curious to see if any other folks here may be attending. I'll post pictures of the event later Monday or Tuesday. It sounds like he will be giving a talk at this signing as well, so I am very excited to attend! Monday, April 18, 2016 starting at 7:00 PM Books-A-Million 520 Kissimmee, FL 2605 West Osceola Parkway, Kissimmee, FL 34741 |

Many times at a bookstore like Book A Million they will sell you a signed copy and ship after he has done the signing. You might contact the store directly. |

Dallas-area folks, and others attending future book signings, please be advised that at the Washington, DC event I attended and enjoyed, they announced that he would also sign any of his children's books. Maybe the rules were different because it was a paid event, but you might want to get a copy or two in case — kids will enjoy them unsigned, but signed they'll make wonderful presents. |

1,800 books is a record. Wow, 1800. I'd make sure I'd take an Osteo-Bi-Flex beforehand, no pun intended. Anyone know how many he signed in New York, as well as Vero Beach? |

Attended the Bath (UK) event on Friday. Buzz was in fine form. I believe it was sold out 800 plus. Everyone was patient for an autograph at the end. Buzz seemed happy and was shaking hands in between autographs. Nice to see a few familiar faces too.

Buzz arrived by helicopter at a school in Lancashire UK and was on great form during a talk, Q&A and book signing, autographing 750 copies of "No Dream Is Too High" as well copies of "Mission To Mars." An inspiring evening was had by all. |

The CSM/LM model in the background looks familiar (and almost as inspiring as Aldrin). What did he have to say about your work? |

Thank you. The model resides in my attic when not in use. Buzz liked it a lot and joked about taking it with him. |

I was able to order this signed book from Toppings Booksellers of Bath as I was unable to get there. When it arrived it was damaged so when I informed them they asked me to send them photographic evidence online and they would deal with it. When I did so they sent me a signed replacement with an enclosed jiffy bag, postage paid to return the original copy sent. They even invited me whenever I am in Bath to look in and join them for a coffee. Wonderful service from a very friendly staff. The book is enjoyable with some very good advice in how to lead your life and interesting anecdotes from Buzz. |

Over the weekend, I saw copies of his book for sale at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, and I still hope he'll come there eventually for a signing, as I've never met him before... |
