That'd be a "pretty good" show I guess. lolI know Anders is a hopeless dream but I wish Borman, Collins or Mattingly would do a show so I could meet them. |

I don't think you will see any of those guys do a public show again. Bill Anders did come to the Apollo 12 anniversary dinner that was on the same weekend as the AAMS a few years back, as did Neil Armstrong. But they were not at the actual show and I doubt Bill Anders will do a signing again. He was however very kind about photo ops, etc. |

They started posting autograph pricing. Al Worden actually went down $15 from last year. |

I haven't seen any updates on the pricing lately. I'd like to know what Lovell's inscription fee per word is as I have three items with varying inscriptions to get. |

Does anyone know the deal with the AAMS tickets this year? Are they to be sent out or be collected at the hotel? |

Many of us in the astronaut memorabilia community knew Leon Ford, our fellow space enthusiast and friend who recently passed. In an effort to honor Leon, Jason Rubin and I are organizing a lunch time gathering at 12 p.m. through 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 at the ASF show in the Rocket Garden Café. We ate with Leon at this café on Saturday at the 2013 show, and feel it appropriate to organize the same for 2014. No speeches, no fanfare; just like-minded friends and space enthusiasts getting together to honor an absent friend during the signing break at the ASF show. For those wishing to participate, we are asking for a $20 donation per person that will immediately be handed to the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation later that day in memory of Leon. As most of you might know, the ASF was near and dear to his heart. Here is the Rocket Garden Café's menu (Note: Lunch is not included in the $20 donation). Participants are required to RSVP via this link in order to help insure adequate table space for the gathering. Please join us that hour to remember our dear friend and the gentle spirit of Leon Ford. Those who join us and make the $20 donation will be asked to autograph a special item going to Leon's widow, Donna. Hope to see you there! —Bruce and Jason |

Good for Al. The goodwill from this gesture should pay huge dividends. |

Can anyone help with getting a few signatures for me please? I have three Flight Plan covers (so, easy to carry) needing Cernan, Lovell, Bean and Gordon. Thanks. |

Normally you pick up a packet at the hotel that contains your badge, wristbands and anything else your ticket package requires. There's a table in the lobby where you can check in with ASF. |

xlsteve is correct — we will have a check-in table at the Cocoa Beach Hilton where you'll be able to collect a check-in packet which will contain everything you'll need for the weekend. We'll see you there! |

Last year I ordered a weekend pass for the autograph show early and you just gave them your name and id at the entrance to the show inside KSC and they gave you both days bracelets right then. |

Thanks for the information. This will be my first time attending. I'm fortunate that my wife's parents live in Titusville. All I have to spend is the price of a plane ticket and of course my Annual Pass for KSC. They are both retired and I'm the Son-In-Law liked by them, so they have been able to get signatures for me from the astronaut present that day. |

I'm sure you'll love it and get ready to be overwhelmed when you first walk in the room!If you've never met the astronauts before do yourself a favor and plan nothing but the show for at least one day because it will take at least three times longer than you think. When I first attended in 2012, I made the mistake of trying to fit autographs, photos with every astronaut and the three-hour launch site tour in. I ran around like Jesse Owens on fire on Sunday after being there all day Saturday. |

I will not be able to attend this show but I might be interested in getting a replica moon boot signed by Cernan if anyone could accomodate me. Email me privately if you can help. I will gladly pay for your time. |

Is there anyone attending the AAMS solo this year who has an Apollo ticket? Hoping to hook up with someone and help each other out taking photos and stuff, it's so frustrating getting a perfect moment for a photo and scrambling around for someone to take the pic. |

My advice would be book your flights ASAP and get over there. If you are a spaceflight fan then the AAMS and the astronauts will blow your mind. I travel over from Edinburgh and this will be my third AAMS and I cant praise the ASF highly enough for putting on such an amazing few days for all us space buffs. |

Just saw that Richard Gordon and Fred Gregory were off the guest page for the show, though still on the fees page. Hopefully that's a temporary thing as I was looking forward to meeting Gregory and had an item to get signed by Gordon, who is always great to meet. |

Not a silly question at all. There will be a table selling various images that you can buy and then have signed.However... I strongly recommend that you use that as a "last chance" option if you decide to get something signed at the last minute, or if someone shows up who you were not expecting. Instead, try to find whatever items you want signed in advance and bring them with you. That way, you can find exactly what you want, in exactly the quality you want. |

Thanks for the answer. As for photos, the internet is a wonder. There are a few on the list of attendees that I have had difficulty finding. The "big" names are not as hard to locate. I have had their photos printed for awhile now. As for purchase on site, it will be a last minute substitution perhaps or low pricing would be a a factor.

I have had difficulty locating the photos listed here.Anxious for the show. Printed most of the photos for the show. I have my flight, my ride from the airport and staying with my in-laws. Tickets to KSC purchased prior (Annual Pass) and have been saving and saving. Just need the final prices to be listed.

They just listed most of them but still no Lovell or Stafford. These guys are starting to get expensive! A lot of $25 increases over last year. Even McCandless is $75 now.

Not picking on you, but think about this: The autograph from an Astronaut Encounter is free if you bring your own item, but parking is $10 and admission to KSC is $50. There's always some cost to getting an autograph - whether it's stamps and paper and envelope, time away from work, or gas and admission.I figure my "going rate" at getting an autograph is about $50. Seeing Jemison yesterday was about $10 in gas and $10 for tolls and the photo. Sending out an item to get signed usually runs about the $50, in terms of donation, photo cost and postage there and back. |

One thing about getting an autograph from KSC is that if they are having an astronaut encounter, you can buy a signed photo from the encounter for $10 bucks plus postage. I just did that when the had Rodolfo Neri Vela.Of course you don't get the experience of meeting the astronaut, but it is hard to get there from Birmingham. |

I'm getting several full sized, wearable gold visor moonwalker type replica helmets signed at the ASF show in a few weeks and was going to resell a couple to help pay for part of the trip. If anyone would like to buy one and have me get it signed by anyone there and ship it back to you in the U.S. here's what I have and the cost.Commander striped gold visor helmet perfect for Cernan or Lovell — $900 shipped plus autograph cost. Non-commander unstriped gold visor helmet perfect for Bean, Duke, Haise or Mitchell — $850 shipped plus autograph cost. I've gotten a couple of these signed. These are probably the most impressive signed item you'll find. I would also do my best to take pics of them signing it though I can't guarantee that. Just drop me an email if interested. |

If someone does take Jason up on his offer for Lovell, you may want to further augment the red stripes afterwards to feature the Navy anchor and wings that distinguished Lovell's LEVA. |

Is it just me or have "Crew Completion" fees really dropped?Granted, those known for high ones, such as Captain Lovell, are still TBA, but those that are listed all seem lower than in the past. |
