Number 3! the silver sharpie sounds like an awesaome presentation and shuttle launches are common photos. |

I would vote for #3 with a silver sharpie as well. It shows the shuttle on the pad getting ready for its historic flight! |

Number 3 signed in silver. Less common photograph as opposed to coloured launch photographs which are usually easier to obtain. |

#1 is my choice. Hopefully, they can pose in front of Atlantis on the pad with the sts-135 crew-now THAT would be one nice photo to have autographed! |

Poll for issue 1. Is that a crystallic and read in gear story. Power motors and historical at once in cleanness water - plane reflects also. Definitely my choice them to a 1. |

I vote for #3. Photo 1 is probably the most beautifully composed photo of the three, but I think Photo 3 would probably look the best with signatures applied to it. Silver signatures against the dark sky would really stand out brilliantly. (I also agree that a silver paint pen be used, not a silver-colored sharpie.) |

#2 for me. But for what it's worth, is there not a better close-up shot of the launch than the two posted? |

#1, but I really wish the ASF would have broadened the choices to at least ten. There are many better photos than these. ASF, any chance of starting over this process? |

No. 1 would be my choice, so they can sign either side of the ascending orbiter. |

I agree. There are MANY better pics of STS-1 out there compared to these. How can the iconic landing pic not even be included?

Number 1. Nicely composed shot, with room for one signature on either side of the ascending shuttle. But I agree that a picture of Columbia returning to Earth would have been better. |
