This looks to be a fantastic show! I have already reserved my ticket for the weekend and can't wait until November. The thing that sold me on this event was the VIP tour, air show, and the chance to ride the Shuttle Launch Experience with the astronauts.Plus, the extra bonus is that this all supports a great cause! |

All I can say is that I'm glad I don't have a mortgage to pay off! As long as my Bank doesn't crash, I hope to be there. It looks terrific. |

While it's not a Shuttle launch, there is a planned launch on November 5 of a Delta 4 rocket. That might be extra incentive to arrive a couple days early. |

Just confimed my reservation through Dee at the ASF; she was so nice. She said there were only 50 platinum passes and she was swamped taking orders. I suggest you call her now to make your reservations for this worthy cause. And her explanation of the perks for the platinum pass had me jumping up and down with joy and anticipation. |

Agreed with Mel... I booked my Platinum ticket with Dee this morning and she said ticket requests were starting to flood in. The ASF is putting on a great event with this and knowing the money goes to the charity was just more incentive to pull the trigger. Jay

Just called and got my platnum ticket for this event. It should be fun and exciting to meet many astronauts in one day. Hopefully collectspace members can get together for the event as well. Robert Pearlman will you be there as well?? Also, Dee at ASF said there is not many tickes left for the platnum package. Thank you |

Just had some superb news. Firstly I'm due some backpay plus my wife this morning told me if I wanted too, I could attend either this Show or attend the launch of STS-125 as both Atlantis and Endeavour will be on launch pads A+B as I believe. And as for meeting up Woody, I have to say if I find myself in Merritt Island later on this year you can find me in Shuttles Bar and Grill, not far from the KSC. Cheers, Alex. ------------------ "Why dont you fix your little problem and light this Candle?" |

Alex and Woody--If my schedule permits, I would be happy to meet up with any cS members later in the year, or any other month, if time permits. My home-office is only a short few-minutes drive to Shuttles Bar and Grill here on Merritt Island. |

My birthday candle!Ok, I might have to make another trip. The only thing that can equal last summer's trip is a launch of some sort. But Robert says there is MORE to be announced?? Tom |

Don't forget to bring a towel or a bib of of some sort. You'll be drooling over the piles of neat stuff Ken has. I visited his home office a few years ago. Great fun! :-D |

I signed up today. Seems like a long way to go for Rob Sumowski's autograph but I guess it's worth it.I'm looking forward to meeting some of this community as much as the astronauts. |

Due to other commitments namely a new Kitchen for my wife, my funding for a trip to ASF or a Shuttle launch this year has been cut but I nevertheless intend to visit for a February or April launch so I would like to thank Ken for his invitation and hopefully see him next year. But for now I shall still be attending Autographica and maybe bump into some of you guys there? For those of you with Platinum passes, can you say for which astros they are valid for the front of the line perk (the website says it's for "selected" astros only), assuming there are any left?I had one for the show last June and it was worth every penny, but got a little awkward at times. |

I had a Platinum pass at the KSC show last June, but I didn't use the front-of-line option. I was there all day anyway and was not in a hurry. ------------------ John Capobianco Camden DE |

I booked a platinum pass and have received a confirmation email. It does not say for which lines the front of line perk is valid. |

However, STS-126 is tentatively listed for November 10th...the day after the ASF show. While one shouldn't get their hopes up too high, it would be perfect icing on the cake. |

That's good news.I went back to look but I can't see that date on either the launch schedule or the launch information page (accessed from the KSC Visitor Centre page) although the latter is still showing the Delta IV launch for November 5th. Seems strange that two different launch info pages on the KSC site are showing two different schedules... |

NASA has not officially announced the date for STS-126, other than saying that it will be four to five weeks later than originally planned. I hear that the new schedule may not be released until after STS-124 returns from space. The best (and most updated) launch schedule is maintained by Spaceflight Now. |
