We've been working hard behind the scenes to move things forward with our 2007 UACC Autograph Show at Kennedy Space Center and to that end, here's the latest news fit to print:

1. We have secured three hotels in Cocoa Beach, FL. They are, the Holiday Inn Resort at Cocoa Beach, Courtyard by Marriott and the Hampton Suites. Rates will range from $109 - $129 per night with The Holiday Inn Resort being literally right on the beach. The Marriott and the Hampton Suites are accepting reservations at this time with the Holiday Inn Resort taking reservations effective Monday (10/9) in the afternoon.

2. We will have several ticket packages available ranging from Silver - Gold - Platinum. The packages along with pricing will be detailed within the next week and reservations will begin to be taken.

3. Transportation from our preferred hotels to the Saturday Gala Banquet at KSC will be provided by Sims/Hankow as a component of our ticket plans.

4. In addition, we are making arrangements for the provision of transportation from our preferred hotels to the autograph show itself for those who choose not to drive.

5. Our show schedule will look something like this:

**Thursday June 7th, 2007: Lectures, a VERY special tour, opportunity to enjoy the brand new KSC "Shuttle Experience" ride and many other surprises. Join us at KSC on this day and we promise you'll be glad you did!

**Friday June 8th, 2007: Autograph Show!!!

**Saturday June 9th, 2007: Autograph Show!!!

**Saturday Evening June 9th, 2007: Gala Banquet at KSC!

**Sunday June 10th, 2007: has been kept open for you and yours to explore the area or just bask in the Florida sunshine.

**Monday June 11th, 2007: STS-118 lifts off for the International Space Station. Stick around for launch and enjoy the experience of a lifetime. Sims/Hankow are working on a very special package that includes the launch viewing experience. Tickets will be limited so keep your eyes peeled. The early birds will "get the launch"!!

The above is just a taste of what's to come. Astronauts are being confirmed at this time. Given the nature of our wonderful venue you may reasonably expect some great surprises to be announced as the days roll on.

We encourage anyone interested in attending this event to book early. Given we're in a launch window, we are expecting a super crowd and rooms as well as ticket packages are sure to go fast.

Vendors out there? Give us a shout! We'd love to have you join us. See our showsite at www.autographshows.net for more information.

Sun, sand, Astronauts, autographs, a Gala Banquet where everyone gets to "dine" with an Astronaut, KSC's brand new "Shuttle Experience" ride, Astronauts, a "VERY" special KSC Tour, Astronaut and other space related lectures, an auction to benefit the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, Vendors with lots of cool "stuff" and did I mention Astronauts? Oops!, guess so...sorry .

Well folks, that's about it for the moment but suffice it to say, this is shaping up to be an AWESOME event and we do hope you'll choose to join us!

Updates will be posted as they occur so stay tuned to www.autographshows.net.

Best to all,

Steve Hankow and Nolan Sims

Sounds like it is going to be the most wonderful show yet!
I was most likely going to be able to go, but sadly, it is set for the middle of Finals and Regents studying!
There's always 2008.

Jerry Carr,Jon Mc.Bride,Story Musgrave,to name but a few-did the dine etc with all of them,so much so- that someone said-quote-
[WHAT YOU HERE AGAIN?} love the place.
next year we changed the dates to June.07
Back to Florida in Nov.06 to see some more friends.Hubby and myself look forward to meeting the 2 of you, plus other members from collectspace.

Brenda, Glad you'll be joining us. The special features we'll be able to build into this event as a result of our being at KSC, along with the ability to view a shuttle launch makes this an unbelievable opportunity.

This is particularly true given the shuttle program is rapidly coming to a close. Not only is this a collectors dream event but may also be one of the last chances for many people to personally witness manned space program history as it's actually unfolding.

Well a shuttle launch is on my "to-do" list so I'll be watching your announcements with interest, Steve.
We've now got 3 outstanding events already for 2007 - it's going to be an expensive year!

Paul Bramley

PS trust there's money-back option when the launch gets scrubbed for 2 weeks

I wouldn't necessarily count on, "There's always 2008"

Hi Steve,
Many thanks for your kind words.hubby and myself are really looking forward to those-
[Special Features}you mention.
I have already viewed several launches, during my years visiting KSC-even saw how the NEW SHUTTLE EXPERIENCE- is coming on- This is going to be- a Major Boost for Kennedy-lets hope it works and is ready for June 07.
This whole show is going to boost my vacation to Florida next year-I only hope that you can surprise us with the great line up of guests who came to the Texas show.this year.
Having done the [Dine with An Astronaut} so many times-met so many Astronauts at the Encounter-it really is a pleasure when the Astronauts remember me from one year to the next.
Look forward to meeting you and Nolan,Linn
from the ASF- I met at the [Air and Space Show} plus several Autograficas in London.
I also hope to meet up with fellow cs members from the states, and any people from the UK
Best wishes from
Brenda.
ps- Am getting excited already-----
