We have now posted at http://boggsspace.com/mall/first_man.asp near final cover art and some further information for James Hansen's authorized biography of Neil Armstrong, to be published by Simon & Schuster in October. This is going to be a good sized book--over 600 pages and given Hansen's reputation, quite strong. We are taking pre-orders for copies SIGNED by Hansen at the list price of $29.95. Of course, as with all our hardbound books with dust jackets, we are wrapping in the dust jacket in an archival protective sleeve.

An important update:Dr. Hansen will be signing copies at our shop in a closed session on October 26th, and we will begin shipping the book on the 28th with all books preordered expected to ship by November 2nd. We have ordered extra copies of course, so if you have not ordered, you still have a chance. ------------------ Donald & Tamara Boggs Boggs SpaceBooks http://boggsspace.com |

My copies arrived safe and sound today, guys. Thanks for a GREAT service and speedy shipping. Your packaging FAR surpassed an order I got from some other guys earlier this year. The "overwrap" archival-quality on the dustjacket is SUPERB ! GB |

Great Packing paid off. My box had a corner that was all banged up and the front of the box had a hole in it but the book was safe and sound.Mike Myer Humboldt KS |
