University Archives has a small but interesting space memorabilia auction scheduled for Sept. 18, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. See lot 205 for a Wernher von Braun signed V-2 Rocket test report. This report covers the launch from Peenemunde on June 22, 1943. One report photo shows the launch. There is a second photo of the base of the rocket on the launch pad. The report is in German with von Braun's signature as he signed it then. There is an English translation included.
There are several PSA graded Mercury photos. Lot 174 is a Yuri Gargarin and Gherman Titov PSA graded photo. Lot 152 is a rare reversed Apollo 11 image of Buzz Aldrin by the flag – these reversed images were corrected before being released so are seldom seen.
Kapton foil is available from several missions including 10 of the one-inch squares on plexiglass used by Bill Whipkey to create presentation pieces.
