NASA release
International Space Station Operations Planning

NASA and Northrop Grumman are adjusting planning for the company's next commercial resupply launch to the International Space Station. Northrop Grumman's Commercial Resupply Services-23 now will be the company's next flight to the International Space Station for NASA, targeted to launch no earlier than fall 2025.

In March, Northrop Grumman informed NASA of damage to the container carrying the Cygnus Pressurized Cargo Module for the company's Commercial Resupply Services-22 during shipment to the launch site. Following initial evaluation, there also is damage to the cargo module. The International Space Station Program will continue working with Northrop Grumman to assess whether the Cygnus cargo module is able to safely fly to the space station on a future flight.

NASA previously announced plans to adjust the cargo manifest on the agency's next resupply mission on a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft in April and add more consumable supplies and food to help ensure sufficient reserves of supplies aboard the station.

Commercial resupply missions, managed by NASA's International Space Station Program, provide critical science, supplies, and hardware to the orbital complex through a partnership with private industry allowing NASA to maximize use of the station for the benefit of humanity.
