The crew has been named as commander Cai Xuzhe, who previously flew on Shenzhou 14, and first-time fliers Wang Haoze and Song Lingdong.

Wang is currently the only active female astronaut in China's corps and will be the third Chinese woman in space.

An interesting view during today's EVA, the first for the Shenzhou-19 crew. It appears there is writing (autographs?) on the back of the Feitian spacesuit PLSS (portable life support system) backpacks worn by Cai Xuzhe and Song Lingdong. Anyone know more or can read what is written?

It should also be noted that at a reported 9 hours and 6 minutes, Cai Xuzhe and Song Lingdong's EVA on Dec. 17 was the longest in history.

The previous record of 8 hours and 56 minutes was set by James Voss and Susan Helms in 2001.

Yes, they are signatures; on the right PLSS at the very top is Zhang Lu's, below that Chen Dong's, and below that is Jing Haipeng's. I can't identify the others.

Thanks Bert! My guess is that the others signatures are those who also wore the same suit...
