March 1st, 2014 marks a milestone in Canada's space history as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Canadian Space Agency.
Our accomplishments, from satellites that monitor the Earth to robots that build the International Space Station, have fuelled a flourishing space industry and inspired our nation. These achievements are a true measure of the dedicated people who have helped position Canada as a space-faring nation. As the President of the Canadian Space Agency, it is an honour to be part of a team of such talented people and lead this collective effort to serve and inspire Canadians by showcasing excellence in the space sector while supporting the Government's priorities.
Let's seize this moment to take pride in Canada's achievements and to prepare for the future, as we continue to build on Canada's leadership in space.
