Is there a list anywhere of call signs used by cosmonauts on the early flights ...and did this tradition continue?

For example: Titov (Eagle), Nikolaev (Falcon).

I believe Dennis Newkirk's "Almanac of Soviet Manned Space Flight" gives the English translations of the Soviet callsigns.

Thanks - now I know! But what does "Derbent" and "Ingul" mean? (Not in my Russian-English dictionary.)

Regarding Vostok 1: Kedr (Cedar), the "Swallow" call sign for the Vostok-1 flight shows up being used in the following books:
  • NASA SP-4201 "This New Ocean" p. 333 (1966)*
    * "...published in Pravda on April 25, 1961..." Is this the original source of that name?

Anyone have any prior or other reference to this name?
