I am looking for the Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) dates for the following space shuttle missions:STS-5, STS-6, STS-7, STS-8, STS-9, STS 41-B, STS 41-C, STS 41-D, STS 41-G, STS 51-A, STS 51-C, STS-51-D, STS 51-B, STS 51-G, STS 51-F, STS-51-I, STS 51-J, STS-61-A, STS 61-B, STS 61-C, STS 51-L, STS-26, STS-27, STS-29, STS-30, STS-28, STS-34, STS-33, STS-32, STS-36, STS-31, STS-41, STS-38, STS-35, STS-37, STS-39, STS-40, STS-43, STS-48, STS-44, STS-42, STS-45, STS-STS-46, STS-47, STS-52, STS-53, STS-54, STS-55, STS-58, STS-62, STS-68, STS-66, STS-71, STS-91, STS-96, STS-93, STS-103, STS-99, STS-101, STS-106, STS-97, STS-98, STS-102, STS-100, STS-104, STS-105, STS-108, STS-109 and STS-110. These are when the astronauts are suited up and practice the countdown in the space shuttle cockpit/flight deck/mid deck. These occurred on the launch pads as well. Some space shuttle missions may of have had two TCDT due to launch scrubs/aborts and mission schedules changing? Any information on TCDT would be very helpful. Thank you. |

The dates of all those shuttle TCDTs can be found in the Space Shuttle Almanac that details all 135 shuttle missions in exhaustive detail. |

- STS-43 with Blaha, Baker, Lucid, Adamson and Low
- STS-48 with Creighton, Reightler, Buchli, Brown and Gemar
- STS-44 with Gregory, Henricks, Musgrave, Runco, Voss and Hennan
- STS-42 with Grabe, Oswald, Thagard, Hilmers, Readdy, Merbold and Bondar
- STS-47 with Gibson, Brown, Lee, Apt, Jemison, Davis and Mohri
- STS-52 with Wetherbee, Baker, Shepherd, Veach, Jernigan and MacLean
- STS-53 with Walker, Cabana, Bluford, Voss and Clifford
- STS-62 with Casper, Allen, Ivins, Thout and Gemar

If you can get into the KSC old photo database — I use Wayback Machine sometimes to access archived web sites — there are photos of TCDTs for STS-71 onward. | |
