"What if we built a bridge, between and above all nations, to jointly discover the galaxy's great unknowns?"
Join us this fall as we prepare to celebrate 20 years of continuous crews on the International Space Station. As a global endeavor, 240 people from 19 countries have visited the unique microgravity laboratory, which has hosted more than 2,800 research investigations from scientists in over 100 nations.

It would be great to see a summary of the scientific results from this 20 years on the ISS. Surely we are all benefiting but I can't point to a single breakthrough that is making my life, and others, better, although I'm sure they're there.
How many PhDs and MS degrees have been earned from data obtained on orbit? Is anyone aware of any such reports?

There is also a NASA ebook, International Space Station Benefits for Humanity, now in its third edition, that "fills more than 200 pages with the many benefits of conducting research on the orbiting microgravity laboratory and includes new assessments of the economic value — as well as greater detail about the scientific value — of the International Space Station."

For 20 years, the astronauts aboard the International Space Station have conducted science in a way that cannot be done anywhere else. Orbiting about 250 miles above our planet, the space station is the only laboratory available for long-duration microgravity research.
During the past two decades, the space station has supported numerous discoveries, scientific publications, unique opportunities, and historic breakthroughs. This research not only helps us explore farther into space, it also benefits us back on Earth.
To mark 20 years of science, take a look at 20 scientific and technological breakthroughs we have achieved as a result of space station science.

Floating in the orbiting laboratory, surrounded by science apparatus and two-decades worth of accumulated equipment, Kate Rubins picked out a simple tool to represent 20 years of continuous crewed operations on board the International Space Station (ISS).
Rubins and her two Expedition 64 crewmates, Sergey Ryzhikov and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov, were aboard the space station on Monday (Nov. 2) to mark and extend the milestone achievement.

They made a mistake on the third poster, only three shuttles serviced the space station, not four.
