The rotating service structure at Kennedy Space Center's Pad 39A was rolled away from Endeavour on Tuesday evening, revealing the space shuttle in preparation for the launch of STS-118, scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, August 8 at 6:36 p.m. EDT.As of Tuesday, there was only a 20% chance that isolated rain showers could prohibit a launch on Wednesday. The 22nd flight to the International Space Station, STS-118 will be the first flight for Endeavour since 2002. |
