NASA Artemis Chronograph | Back to the MoonOver 50 years after the Apollo missions, NASA is preparing to return to the moon with the Artemis program, which will take a diverse crew to the lunar surface and pave the way for future Mars missions. To mark this new era of space exploration, we introduce the limited edition NASA Artemis Chrono, a bold redesign of the traditional tachymeter watch.

Kickstarter price: $279 per watch (MSRP $425).
The Artemis Chrono is built around, arguably, the most trusted quartz chronograph on the market. The Seiko VK63 movement features a central chronograph 1/5 second hand with flyback reset. The subdial functions are a 60-minute chrono, small seconds, and 24 hour dial. A date window, 3 year battery life, and +/- 20 seconds a month accuracy round out the features.
Modern Tachymeter Design
Primarily used to measure speed, tachymeter watches have long been associated with space travel. We've modernized the tachymeter bezel through segmentation and hue shifting (on most models). Clean lines allow bold colors to span the underside of the glass bezel insert increasing legibility at a glance.
3D Orion Caseback
All variations of the NASA Artemis Chrono collection feature a dimensional Orion capsule sculpted into its caseback with a textured beadblasted background.
Mission Details
Inspired the shape of the Orion capsule, the hour hand is filled with Swiss-made Super LumiNova to make the watch readable under nearly all conditions. Another mission design detail are the four triangle shapes on the tachymeter representing the four RS-25 rocket engines on the Space Launch System.
Unisex 40mm Case
One of the Artemis mission accomplishments will be a first — a woman walking on the moon. To celebrate this achievement, we've made the diameter of the case a unisex size of 40mm. All silver models will have finely brushed bracelets while the PVD plated gunmetal and black bracelets will be bead blasted.
Anodized Pushers
Our chronograph pushers are made from anodized aluminum just like the Artemis II space suit's inlets and valves.
Limited Edition Collection
We're limiting each colorway to only 999 pieces. Every watch will have its limited edition number engraved into the caseback.
In a world of 8 billion people, each backer will be one in 8 million; like a single star in the vast universe.
