Happy cSilver Anniversary!

Looking back at the prior anniversary threads, I don’t think I can do any better than my post ten years ago ...

Congratulations, Robert, on the 15th anniversary of collectSPACE!

This site is a fantastic and unique resource for space related news and history, as well as for highly detailed information about space collecting and artifacts.

I am continually amazed at how you seem to be able to be in so many places at once wherever there is space news happening. Your well-written and thoughtful articles are posted to the web site at an amazing rate. And you do all this while keeping an eagle eye on the dozens of forums covering just about every aspect of interest for the cS community.

The cS community, itself, is a great mix of extremely knowledgeable and passionate people. My engagements with members of the community have been very pleasant, indeed. They really care about authenticity and preservation of the symbols and tangible reminders of humankind’s ventures beyond the Earth’s atmosphere.

collectSPACE serves as a catalyst for keeping us like-minded Space Geeks connected while growing our collective knowledge of the subject of spaceflight. It is in this way that we help ensure the items in our collections will endure as they move down the timeline and into the hands of future collectors and museums. Our collections serve as a distributed archive of space history. We are benefiting future generations by providing educational resources that help to inspire people - young and old, alike - and that help keep interest in space exploration thriving.

As for myself, I feel very proud to have contributed the collectSPACE insignia. I am still overjoyed that you chose to use my design as a key part of the branding for the suite of collectSPACE web sites. I think the patches look great on the Twitter and facebook headers. I look forward to seeing what other collectSPACE insignia emblazoned items you may offer.

So, thank you, Robert, for creating and curating collectSPACE. At T+15, it continues to give us a magnificent ride!

And, since words, alone, might not fully convey the sentiment, here’s a special edition of the collectSPACE insignia to mark the occasion.

I found cS by searching "Lunar Module Model". If I remember correctly there was a picture of a Franklin Mint model on the site in 1999 and that, was it I was hooked. Robert convinced me to start posting after I attended the 20th anniversary event at KSC of the Challenger memorial. Thanks for all you do Robert and this community!!

Thank you, Robert, for the great resource and community-builder you've created in collectSpace.

Congrats on 25 years - I missed the first decade but have been on board ever since!
