A look at the upcoming shirts in the series: Three shirts will be released over the course of the summer, with the first shirt featuring the Mercury spacecraft Liberty Bell 7 being released earlier this week. The next shirt, set to be released on August 10, will feature the Gemini spacecraft, Gemini X. The last shirt in the collection will feature the Apollo 13 craft, Odyssey, and will be released on August 31. All three of the spacecrafts featured on the shirts are currently on display at the Cosmosphere. |

I don't like using the same design for Gemini 10 as the others for two reasons. First, Gemini used a horizontal splashdown attitude. Second, Gemini used Roman numerals. Gemini was different, the T-shirt should reflect that.

Good point about the orientation for splashdown, though aesthetically, it is nice that the shirts match. The Gemini crews used roman numerals on their patches, but NASA used arabic numbers for the press kits and on other mission documents, so both are correct. |
