Buzz Aldrin's ShareSpace Foundation has introduced a new limited edition version of its popular "Get Your Ass to Mars" t-shirts in celebration of World Space Week.
100% of the proceeds support the ShareSpace Foundation which addresses science literacy by igniting children’s passion for science, technology, engineering, arts and math.

Any cSer notified if they're going to get the signed T-shirt?
Looking on Buzz's Facebook page, he stated one person ordering this shirt within the 24 hour period (from Oct. 6 1 p.m. PST) would get it signed by him. Latest claims 500 shirts sold, to date, and 10 days left to order them.

Buzz Aldrin's popular t-shirt line borrows the line from the 1990 movie "Total Recall," when Arnold Schwarzenegger as Douglas Quaid tells himself (via video) to "Get your ass to Mars."
Aldrin today shared on Facebook that he and Schwarzenegger recently got together in Los Angeles:
While in LA I needed to go visit the original Martian — my friend Arnold Schwarzenegger and pioneer of #GetYourAssToMars.

I wonder how much he charged Arnold for the signature, personalization, and five-word inscription.

Before he became one of the first men to walk on the moon, Buzz Aldrin took the first selfie in space. Now, half a century later, Aldrin wants to put his trailblazing self-portrait on your body.
"November is the 50th anniversary [month] of my Gemini 12 mission. New tees in honor of my #FirstSelfieInSpace!" Aldrin announced on Tuesday (Nov. 1), debuting his new t-shirt on Facebook. Sales of the limited edition apparel will benefit Aldrin's non-profit ShareSpace Foundation.
