Probably like most people here I spend a lot of time trawling through eBay listings to see what's out there, and you see some pretty weird things. Top marks today goes to this one, which is truly a thing of beauty! Apollo Lunar Lander and Command Module Music Box. Missing the music player, but still a great piece of art, made of metal. My mind also boggles at the Apollo-Soyuz souvenir cigarettes that regularly appear. What's the oddest example of space memorabilia you've come across? |

I wonder if the missing music box played "Fly Me to the Moon" or another "lunar classic"?I bought one or maybe two Apollo/space whiskey decanters many years ago. They display well but were a frivolous purchase. It is fun to see what comes up for sale. |

I once saw a Apollo CSM shaped... marital aid, let's just say. My jaw hit the floor. |

Strangely enough, I own an example of the first one of those displays. Makes for a great conversation piece when discussing missing moon rocks... |

Here is one strange item for sale now on eBay: This is an antique folk wooden space shuttle, it comes from a retired NASA astronaut estate. |

How about a space shuttle Columbia spittoon (hat tip to Liem via Facebook)? This piece of memorabilia of the disaster of the space shuttle Columbia on January 28, 2003, would be good in any space collectors collection. The incorrect date aside, given the spittoon's shape, I thought there might be some concern that it was made out of recovered debris, but a quick search revealed that there was more than one made (pictured below from eBay no. 261443540170). |

Man, that spitoon is in horrible taste, being made after the disaster... |
