"Extant" stars Halle Berry as an astronaut trying to reacquaint herself with her family after spending a year in space. But her time in space has resulted in something very mysterious that the network promises will "change the course of human history."

Below is the first significant promo for the drama series, which stars Halle Berry as an astronaut who returns to Earth and then... things happen. That's about all we've known for months about the Steven Spielberg-produced series. But here we see Berry as Molly Woods (yup, floating in space!), then she has some sort of strange encounter with something while on her mission. Later she arrives home to discover she's pregnant, and her son is saying creepy, potentially prophetic things.
