Thanks Tom.I've been working my buttuski off. I have actually gone back over the past twelve months and created over 200 posts for past dates thru 2007. Plus another 200 that are in draft form.
My goal, starting in January is to have at least one post per day for every day of the year. On days where more events happened - in space history - there will be several posts.
I'm also planning to try and always have a series of interviews going. Right now the interview with authors French and Burgess is running.
I have another interview series coming from Bob Jacobs, the lead PR guy at NASA. I have a verbal agreement from an Apollo astronaut. And there are some more surprises on the way too.
I appreciate the support and kudos this community is giving TISH. Robert Pearlman and I see some potential synergies between the two sites so you never know what we might cook up.
cS (and TISH) is what the contributing members make of it. cS is a great site because quality people care to own it and put their own touch and feel on it.
TISH is just taking baby steps right now, but I've been creating, publishing and maintaining virtual communities for 12 years so I'm confident that what cS is to the space collecting community today, TISH will be to the space history community in a couple years.
The virtual community (VC) I run for my employer has more than 25,000 paying members and we add about 3,000 more each month!
VCs rock and are ton of fun to be part of.
